Aluri James, Goodman David W, Antshel Kevin, Mojtabai Ramin. Journal of Atten Disorders 2023
This study that surveyed colleges reviews the broad range of ADHD diagnostic and treatment services available to college students. From the study, it is apparent that there is no uniformity for such mental health services on college campuses. With the concern about misuse of prescribed stimulant medication, it is important that college students accurately diagnosed with ADHD are able to obtain informed care and medication when necessary. This research and subsequent studies will encourage college campuses to review the adequacy of ADHD services.
